Erwandern Sie die Westküste Lykiens! Zu Beginn erwartet Sie mit Patara einer der schönsten Strände der Türkei. Der 12 km lange Sandstrand ist, als Schutzgebiet für Meeresschildkröten und seltene Vögel, unverbaut und naturbelassen. Ihre Wanderungen führen Sie auf hoch über dem Meer verlaufenden Pfaden, die Ihnen traumhafte Ausblicke auf die Küste und die bis zu 3.000 m hohen Gipfel des Taurusgebirges bieten. Dramatisch zeigt sich die Steilküste bei Alınca, im Hinterland finden sich typische Kulturlandschaften. Pinienwälder, Olivenhaine und mediterrane Macchia säumen die Wege. Sie wandern über antike Aquädukte und kommen mit den Ruinen von Patara und Xanthos zu bedeutenden Zeugnissen der Lykier.

CAPPADOCIA - LAND OF THE FAIRY CHIMNEYS
Discover the rich history of this area in the heart of Anatolia, where many cultures left their marks. You hike through canyons on the slopes of which you will always discover cave churches and apartments. In the evening, enjoy the Cappadocian wine in a relaxed atmosphere together with your hiking group.
TOUR ITINERARY
1st day: Arrival in Kayseri
Flight from Germany to Kayseri and transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day can be used as freetime. 5 nights in Goreme.
2nd day: Göreme and the Zemi Valley
After a leisurely breakfast, we first stroll through the alleys of Göreme. The apartments, most of which were built centuries ago, were fashionably converted into hotels and pensions years ago. After we leave the alleys of Göreme we first hike a few kilometers with a view of the Uchisar Castle on a dirt road, then we go down to the Zemi valley, this path leads us back to Göreme via Görkündere. The landscape will fascinate us.

3rd day: Göreme Open Air Museum and the tuff formations near the Rose Valley
In the early morning hours we have the unique opportunity to experience the bizarre rocky landscape of Cappadocia from a unique perspective with an optional balloon ride. A must for every visitor to Cappadocia. After breakfast we walk from our hotel to the Göreme Open Air Museum (Unesco World Heritage Site), the frescoes of the churches in the museum are unique. After the visit we walk through the Meskendir Valley and over the Red Gorge to the Üzümlü Church. At Ibrahim's open air restaurant, right next to the Üzümlü Church, we can have a delicious lunch and drink freshly squeezed orange juice. After the lunch break we hike with a spectacular panorama over the Rose Valley to Göreme.
14 km ascent: 510 m descent: 450 m
4th day: Baglidere (White Valley), Uchisar Castle, Güvercinlik (Pigeon Valley)
Mostly it is a path that leads us through Baglidere. Why the valley was also called love valley becomes clear to you when you stand in front of the first group of fairy chimneys. After Baglidere (White Valley) we hike up to Uchisar Castle, the highest point in this region. We climb the stairs because the panoramic view from above is unique. From up here we have a view of almost all hiking stages in the region and, if the weather is good, even up to Erciyes Mountain, the highest mountain in the area. Then we hike through Uchisar and down to the Tauben Valley and through the Tauben Valley back to Göreme.
13.1 km ascent: 430 m descent: 380 m
5th day: Paşabag, Cavusin, Hacli Kilise, Göreme
We have a short transfer from the hotel to Pasabag, where the strangest fairy chimneys are. After a round through the bizarre tuff cones, we hike along a path to Cavusinburg, where we visit the "John the Baptist Church". Today we hike along the higher path parallel to the Boztepe hill with a spectacular view of the Rose Valley and the other valleys. On the descent to Göreme we can visit “The Church with the Cross” and drink a freshly squeezed orange juice there. 12.5 km ascent: 480 m descent: 400 m
6th day: Ortahisar and the Gomeda Valley
Today we say goodbye to Göreme and have a short transfer to Ortahisar. Our hike begins near the small tuff castle Ortahisar. Ortahisar is the second highest elevation in the region after Uçhisar, both of which are riddled with many rooms and chambers like Swiss cheese. Today's hike takes us over dirt roads and paths through the Gomeda Valley, which is known for its multi-storey dovecotes, to our hotel in Mustafapasa, which was called Sinasos in Greek times. 2x overnight stays in the cave hotel in Mustafapaşa (Sinasos).
12.5 km ascent: 330 m descent: 320 m
7th day: From the village of Cemil via Golgoli to Mustafapasa (Sinasos)
After breakfast in the cave restaurant of our hotel, we will be driven briefly to the village of Cemil. We hike up a path to the old settlement of Golgoli. Where in Christian times the population of Mustafapasa, "Sinasos" celebrated the birth of Mother Mary and Easter. You can visit the abandoned cave dwellings there. The connecting tunnel to the Gomeda Valley has partially collapsed and can therefore not be walked on, but there are still some tunnels and underground apartments to be discovered. A dirt road leads us down to the village of Mustafapasa directly to our hotel.
12 km ascent: 350 m descent: 460 m
8th day: departure
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to Kayseri airport and departure, or follow-up program.
