Erwandern Sie die Westküste Lykiens! Zu Beginn erwartet Sie mit Patara einer der schönsten Strände der Türkei. Der 12 km lange Sandstrand ist, als Schutzgebiet für Meeresschildkröten und seltene Vögel, unverbaut und naturbelassen. Ihre Wanderungen führen Sie auf hoch über dem Meer verlaufenden Pfaden, die Ihnen traumhafte Ausblicke auf die Küste und die bis zu 3.000 m hohen Gipfel des Taurusgebirges bieten. Dramatisch zeigt sich die Steilküste bei Alınca, im Hinterland finden sich typische Kulturlandschaften. Pinienwälder, Olivenhaine und mediterrane Macchia säumen die Wege. Sie wandern über antike Aquädukte und kommen mit den Ruinen von Patara und Xanthos zu bedeutenden Zeugnissen der Lykier.

MOUNTAIN BIKING ALONG THE LYCIAN COAST SELF-GUIDED
The Lycian Way is a well-known long-distance walk across the borders of Turkey, which unites Roman trade routes, ancient mule trails in the mountains, and cultural sights. The total length is 510 kilometers along the Lycian coast and leads through high mountains and wild gorges pasture villages. Often, the path leads into lovely bays, which invite you to relax and have a swimming break. We start the tour near the coastal town Finike in the South Taurus. In five bike rides, we explore some very different regions along the long-distance trail. This stylish, unique tour is characterized by lovely natural landscapes, fantastic beaches, culinary delicacies, and lovely people. This MTB tour satisfies every biker's heart.
TOUR ITINERARY
1st day: Flight to Antalya
After arrival, our bus takes us along the Lycian mountain range to the south to the region of Finike-Kumluca.
2nd - 3rd day: Great views and endless descents
We follow ancient paths, which take you to the rustic mountain village, where you can enjoy the freshwater trout for lunch. Afterward, you will climb a pass with a high plateau-shaped by sheep-breeding. An almost endless descent with great views brings you to our hotel. The next day, you enjoy a descent down via forest roads and natural paths In the green deciduous forests.
4th day: Rest day in Cirali
Opportunities to visit the ruined city of Olympos, pleasant beach walks, relaxing bathing in the sea, or you can visit Chimaira «the burning stones» of Cirali.
5th - 7th day: mountain villages and fragrant pine trees
You cycle uphill to the village Ulupinar, where you turn off into a gravel road. Dozens of rapid curves and serpentines bring you into a gorge with wild-west romanticism. In the lower part, the valley is flattened and you reach a beach that is not accessible to cars. After refreshment in the sea, you continue along the coast. Then again uphill, downhill through fragrant pine trees.
The next bike stage leads you up again into the mountains. Along the route, we discover one
old but still intact Roman bridge. On the last Bike day, you reach the highest point of your tour through wide pine forests. Then downhill - nature trails and asphalt road brings you down to a plain in front of Antalya.
8th day: Antalya ----> flight home
Transfer to the airport and flight home.
