Erwandern Sie die Westküste Lykiens! Zu Beginn erwartet Sie mit Patara einer der schönsten Strände der Türkei. Der 12 km lange Sandstrand ist, als Schutzgebiet für Meeresschildkröten und seltene Vögel, unverbaut und naturbelassen. Ihre Wanderungen führen Sie auf hoch über dem Meer verlaufenden Pfaden, die Ihnen traumhafte Ausblicke auf die Küste und die bis zu 3.000 m hohen Gipfel des Taurusgebirges bieten. Dramatisch zeigt sich die Steilküste bei Alınca, im Hinterland finden sich typische Kulturlandschaften. Pinienwälder, Olivenhaine und mediterrane Macchia säumen die Wege. Sie wandern über antike Aquädukte und kommen mit den Ruinen von Patara und Xanthos zu bedeutenden Zeugnissen der Lykier.

SKI TOURS IN THE CILO AND SAT MOUNTAINS
Far in the southeast of Anatolia, in the triangle of Turkey, Iran and Iraq, is the provincial capital of Hakkari. An almost unknown area for ski tourers. The area as a whole is a sea of 4,000-meter mountains. Apart from the highest mountain, Ararat, the highest mountains in Turkey are on average here. The winter is long and brings a lot of precipitation. The mountains are sometimes suitable for ski touring as early as November. Due to the humid climate, the province of Hakkari remains covered in snow all winter and offers good powder snow in the winter months and the best firn in the spring months. And most tours end in the city of Hakkari with a beer.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TOUR
These tours require good physical fitness and good skiing skills. The ascents and descents are consistently long. On average, 1,000 - 1,200 meters of altitude must be climbed per day. The maximum steepness of the routes is around 30°. The chosen mountains are ideal ski mountains for enthusiastic ski mountaineers. Magnificent, exotic destinations that, apart from the necessary fitness, do not require any special skiing skills.

Day 1: Flight via Istanbul to Van. Dinner together and overnight stay in Van.
Day 2: Ski tour in the area around Van, then continue to Hakkari. Dinner in the city in a restaurant and overnight stay in Hakkari in a hotel.
Day 3: Ski tour in the area around Hakkari, overnight stay in Hakkari in a hotel.

We stay in Yüksekova in the Hotel Hilton with wellness facilities and in a middle-class hotel in the city of Hakkari.
THE SKI TOURS
7 guided days - Ski touring with short ascents in the mountains around the Yüksekova plain and around the mountain town of Hakkari up to 3,500 m with gradients of 25° - 30°.
GUIDE
Up to 8 people a ski mountain guide with German - or English language skills. From the 9th person, another ski mountain guide.
PERMIT
It was once a strictly controlled military zone. Currently no entry restrictions, the province is striving for tourism. We just need to make a notice to the city/military. We make this notification a few days before the trip (as of 2023).
